Not sure if this is new information to anyone but I stumbled across this little gem when I did a Google search for “get flash player” today.
I was surprised to see that the 2nd link was a Microsoft URL (go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=6457) which nicely redirects to the Adobe Flash Player download page.

It appears the Flash Player engineering team is making progress on 64-bit Linux support. There are no details yet on when this will ship. But I’m sure they could still use your help.
Flash Player 10 (”Astro”) Debug version is out. You can find it here: http://opensource.adobe.com/svn/opensource/flex/sdk/branches/3.0.x/in/player/10/.

99% of internet users do have Flash Player on their machine (98,8% from Google study)

Wow, the Flash player is being downloaded at an unbelievable pace. Within 6 months the 9.0.115 player is already over 80% worldwide and over 83% in the U.S./Canada.

Today I installed Astro! What I did to be able to still develop and debug flash player 9 applications? I installed the Flash Player 10 just for Firefox and for debug I'm using IE. You can inverse it and install the ActiveX for IE and keep Firefox with the flash player 9.
